LE DOMAINE DE L’ORANGERAIE; Anse Severe, La Digue

Following the previous renovation update of the construction works at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie. Below is the recent
update on the Construction.
Laundry and Kitchen House: - The construction started in November 2007 and is taking place at the back of the hotel
approximately 50m away from the hotel. Most of the time there are no noise disturbance
The provisional date of completion of construction is at the end of June 2008.
Road Construction:-Construction of the road is about 400 metres from the existing hotel. Construction has started since
15th September 2007 and is now finished.
Lake Villa: (4 villas in total)-Construction of the villas has started two months ago, works being done are un-noisy.
The lake villas may be finished by the end of September 2008.
Hill Villa: (5 villas in total) - Villas will be situated 300m away from the hotel and the structural works are in progress
Update on the Kitchen on the other side of the road:
Nearly finish breaking a huge rock about 100Metres from the existing hotel-noisy work from 09h00 to 18h00, Stop
between 12h00 to 13h00
Future work to be done :
• Sea front restaurant area : Will start in July 2008
• Swimming pool : Will start September 2008
• Restaurant & Bar : September 2008
• Reception : September 2008
Work schedule: 07h00 to 12h00-13h00 to 18h00
Regarding the date for hotel closure is still to be 01st September 2008 up to opening 20 December 2008.
